Court Attendance
Hibernian Legal provides a court attendance service for our clients. This ensures
that, where a solicitor is unavailable to attend court whether for a Motion or a
hearing, one of our clerks will appear on his or her behalf. All our court clerks
are members of the Irish Institute of Legal Executives.
It is a practice that all court papers furnished to our offices are examined carefully
in advance of attendance at court to ensure that any concerns are dealt with immediately.
We also make every effort to contact Counsel before the sitting of the court in
order to ensure that everything is on course.
Following attendance at court our clients are notified of the outcome and are furnished
with a clear, well-presented report for their file.
Our clerks are also available to make applications for adjournment and to deal with
matters on consent.
We attend at the High Court, Circuit Court and District Court within Dublin County.
Arrangements can be made for courts outside of the Dublin area. We also attend at
the Employment Appeals Tribunal, Rights Commissioner, Refugee Appeals Tribunal,
Taxing Masters Court, Labour Court and the Solicitors’ Tribunal.
Support services are also available to clients for consultations, including attendances
at prisons, in the Dublin area.
